Where did everyone go?

After a long hiatus from live sound, I'm back behind mixers again!

I wanted to revive my AMP rig and catch up on discussion topics, but I see these forums are completely silent.

Is the project still alive?

Help Fixing a .wdl file issue

Many moons ago I created some custom WDL files specifically for the needs of mixing theatre, mostly musical theatre. All of my old custom views seem to still work just fine with the latest updates, except one. I have one that just shows the DCA assignment buttons in a long channel strip like layout. It's very useful for programming scenes for musical theatre. But for some reason it's stopped working properly. Sometime over the pandemic I believe this stopped working. Or what I mean is updates to AMPGUI have changed something and this file isn't working properly anymore. For some reason the DCA Assign to DCA 9 button shows up and works but none of the others do. I've looked it over multiple times, trying to see if I just have a dumb spelling error. But the code for the DCA 9 button looks the same as every other button other than geometry location.

Any ideas. I've included a link so if you really want to download and look at the code.

X Touch Extender

it's been over 2 years since I used my X Touch extender with AMP. Does anyone remember all the settings internal to the X Touch extender and within the AMP GUI to make them work together? I seem to remember it was some dumb unintuitive combo of settings to get it to work over the Network connection and not via MIDI. I may just give up and plug in the USB.

Anyone remember how to do it?

I’m pleased to see that AMP is still alive and kicking. I thought for a minute that it had left the building..

it’s been a while since I’ve used it. Now that I know that it’s still in development, I’m going to fire it up again. Maybe use it at my church gig as a streaming desk.

how would I connect a remote tablet? Is it a browser thing like MOTU?

Hi, I love the feature for resetting EQs etc, but right now it jumps mix faders and Aux sends up to 0db instead of down to -80db, which means that an accidental click could cause serious problems in a live high SPL setting.

Is it possible to implement it as a return to baseline, EQs go flat and faders go down instead?
